アメリカにいると略語をたくさん目にすることになります。
例えば”KFC”ですが、これは日本でおなじみのケンタッキーフライドチキンの略ですよね。
これと同じように日常生活、SNS、メール、至るところに略語が登場します。
うさぎは、LOLの意味がずっとわかりませんでした。（笑）って意味でした。
略語には発音のしやすさと時間短縮の意図があるようです。
ただ、時として、意味が全くわかりません。
もともと英語がわからないのに、さらに追い打ちをかけるような略語ですから当然ですよね。
